Watch the water temperatures near the shore line in the spring. There is a chart showing surface water temperatures and shoreline temperatures will be higher then unless there is an offshore wind. The bait and browns along with all the other fish will be there to feed.

You don't always need huge temp differences either...sometimes just a couple degrees makes a difference with boards running right along the shoreline in just  a few feet of water.:smile:

Water color is huge. No chocolate milk, no gin clear. Pearl green is the ticket.
Go slow, long leads.
