Looking for new Laptop, any suggestions, like where and what to buy? Would also consider a good used one if there is such a thing!

I am proficient on both the PC and Apple platforms and would HIGHLY recommend a MAC over a PC any day. Just my two cents though......... if you are comfortable with how the PC operates already, then stick to what you know.

dell has some great deals and I deal with them all the time with work

I stick with Dell. I have had good luck with them and the service is good. My Job required 3 computer labs and Dell was our choice.
