19-strand is easier to work with, but more susceptible to fraying. IMHO, adding fifteen feet of 30 lb monofilament line allows me to wind the wire onto the reel when the rods are being stored and reduces kinks. I've bought wire from the member here and it's worked great for us.

Need to put an order in today for wire for my dipsey rods. What is the easiest wire to deal with. I'm looking for that. Less kinks etc. Easiest.

Is it the 19 strand?

Thanks
