Has anyone installed a Trollmaster pro on a mercury 2 stroke.  I was recently going to purchase one of these units but after looking at the install manual I contacted the company and they said that none of their models work for a 2 stroke engine.  I find this weird so I thought I would ask to see if anyone has ever done it, or is using one of the models.

Thanks

I'm sure we could manipulate one of their kits to work with our motors, but they are pretty expensive to have it not work, so hopefully someone has tried this.

Basically the only difference from model to model is the mounting bracket that holds the servo to control the throttle. Pretty simple at the engine end of the system. You just need to align the servo so it can pull the throttle.

I looked into it for my older 2 stroke. The problem is that you have to actuate the throttle and the mechanical spark advance. It takes a whole lot of force more than those little actuators can produce.
