I don’t think your riveting into it rather than bolt through it and using 5200 sealant. Not sure if you would even want to screw into it.

Hmm I am getting ready to do my 89 sea nymph would deff be interested in doing this over wood how do you think it would get mounted rivets??

Lol I have no clue, Jr has decided to take on this project. Will keep you posted, if anyone has any words of wisdom or experience with the product, I’m all ears.

Theres videos on YouTube using this stuff. They are using it to repair fiberglass boats, and glassing it in. I agree, I dont know that you would want to rivet it in, just pass bolts through it with sealant. I'd be interested if anyone does an aluminum boat with this

They recommend bolting through as it does not hold screws or rivets well.

Billy i would really like to see how the top comes out. Tommy going to help. Iv been doing a bit of research this winter on hardtops. Looking for my proline walkaround.

Will let you know John, have to get through deck and console first lol.

JR plans on doing it himself, I may be hitching a lot of rides this spring......summer.....
