Looking for any tips on a late February steelhead chase, need help deciding between using my 6-8 weight fly rod fishing flies or just using egg sacs on a spinner rod, thanks

both will catch fish now, float fishing a center pin is a lot of fun too.

Black woolly bugger swung or stripped upstream with sinking line.  White Zonkers same.  Egg patterns where there are groups dropping eggs.  February can be tough water color conditions.
