That chart is probably for ocean fish.  Based on the size of the girth in relation to your fingers, I would agree it is somewhere in the 25-29 lb range.  It does not have the head of a 30 lber.  Nice fish and from a yak!!

I gave my scale to my son. Got a new one for xmas. Hopefully will have the opportunity to use it. Picked up a 100 amp hour lithium (20 lbs) for the electric motor for my old town kayak.

Never tried for early browns on Lake Ontario. Any starting points?

Forty pound salmon were regular catches when the lake was over run with smelt and alewives at the beginning of the salmon and trout stocking program.

I've never seen a 49" Salmon from Lake Ontario. They typically top out at 40-42". Still a nice fish bud.

I have once back in the early 1980's in the Credit River.  It was a spawned out hen and I couldn't believe the length of it until we measured it.  Exactly 49" in length.  That was easily a 40+lb hen prior to spawning.
