pro am question

In November I passed the captains class, I was wondering if I would would have to enter the pro division now.I don't plan on starting the business until laer on in the summer.

I believe the rule states even if you hold a capt lic or are even a lic guide, you must fish pro. Doesnt matter if you a chartering at the time or not.

As long as you dont have your actual license in hand your ok to run in the amatuer division. The second your coast license is issued youll be forced to run pro.
