Shed Antlers 2020

Got out today for the first time. I Concentrated on 2 Alfalfa fields that have been full of deer the last 2 months and ended up finding 14 antlers. 3 matching sets.

I think I know those fields...great job! A buddy of mine walked over ten miles this past weekend for one. He will be jealous.

Its 1 of my regular farms i have exclusive rights shed hunt on. The owner leases property from us so we worked a deal out and I’m greatly appreciative of it. Had 3 of the antlers I found laying within 100ft of the truck.

The most I have ever seen is in Jackson Hole Wyoming in the center of town on a few arches in the park with thousands of them.....unbelievable!

Spotted this 1 from the road on another 1 of my regular farms while I was at work. Snow cover in the Fields has really melted off fast the last week and uncovering some gold.

You can clearly see each site represented by a genetic shape to the antlers common to the area taken from.

My new buddy Zed a blue lacy. Teaching him to shed hunt and to track down deer. Hopefully he likes the boat too [emoji1696]

Nice find on that matching set. Hardwoods have been producing for us. Finally matched up the 10pt I found 2 weeks ago. Found his other side laying in a blowdown in hardwoods. Squirrels were relentless on it. should gross 140”

Super excited to find the sheds to my bow buck from last year. They were in great shape for laying out all year. Thanks to the Fisher I have very few squirrels on my property. They laid in his bed that I walked by last year!
