What are you saying? You dont like to put on 17 layers of clothes and go sit out on a frozen lake? You would rather have a spring king rip off hundreds of feet of line? WHATS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?

I just scored a pair of Tekota 600LC's (as suggested by many of you) to match with my Blue Diamond rods and now all I need is the wire to complete my salmon slayers! That'll have to wait a bit though, since I will be hitting up Bass Pro's sale this weekend to top off the arsenal for this coming season.

First day of spring and I've got the itch REEEAAL BAD!!

I'll be doing my rain dance over the next few days!! :o

Oswego is lookin pretty good. The harbor is open, but Wright's still has floating chunks of ice in front and the launch is still blocked with snow & ice. The lake looks wide open with scattered bergs way out floating by, but navigable. The small boat launch under Bridge St. still has a lot of snow & ice blocking it.

If we get the warm spell through the weekend maybe the launch will open up for next weekend, hopefully. Does anyone know any place near there that might be open?

What forecast are you looking at?? I see 40's & 50's right through next week with a little rain from time to time. Trust my forecast, I'm a certified meteorologist. 8)

To get any snow, the current models will have to change quite a bit!

I think we have made it over the hump! I am stuck working in NYC next week, but plan to get my boat wet shortly after my return. Only 6 weeks to the spring derby!

The ten day forcast for Syracuse area, is highs in the mid 40's and 50's. I am pulling the shrink wrap off the boat tommarrow. Cabin fever is really getting to me.
