Where can I launch a trailered 21' boat this time of year to get out for Browns? I usually fish around Rochester but range from the Oak to the Genesee.

One on the west side is open and clear. You put money in the vending machine to lift the barrier.

Used the Braddock Bay west side launch last year and he was charging $4 in and $4 out until early July and then it went to $6 in and $6 out. In other words it went from $8 to $12. Kind of sucks, a %33 increase!

Does seem like a lot but it’s convenient and a quick run to great water

It does add up if you're retired like me and have the opportunity to go out several times a week. Could be $60 a week with 5 trips but it's convenient. The opposite side was $9 last year. I don't think I-Bay or Sandy creek will be available for awhile, nobody to put the docks in.

Pretty sure you can get a season launch pass there.

Slip holders at the Buffalo Yacht Club were assessed $1,000 this year to pay for the damage to their floating docks. Face up to it, less users do not pay for maintenance now. The other option is drive farther on your dime and time.

The parking lot at the Cattraugus Creek ramp on Lake Erie was gridlocked with cars from perch fishing boats lately.

Sandy launch is very popular recently.
