Seneca lake techniques

Trying to explore new techniques on Seneca/Cayuga and have come across the gambler rig and spin n glows has anyone used these rigs and had a positive turnout? I have seen many fishermen in the region have good luck but as know fish from Seneca are particularly picky. Haha
