Mag lip for spring ?

Picking some brains anyone use mag lips in spring or should I stick with shallow rappela and bay rat . Thx for insight if possible and with maglips I would assume ur using a flasher

I throw one in the mix when the bite is tough. They usually take a fish or two but I don’t run them too often because the usual stuff is firing.
