Buffalo Small Boat Harbor 2/14

Fished the SBH this afternoon. Ice is still 10-12 inches of good clear solid ice. Tons of dinks, which is ok because we wanted to get some of those for pike bait on the tip ups.

Got the tip up's set and killed time catching dinks and the occasional bigger one waiting for the pike action to start around dusk. We had 5 flags fly with 3 no shows and 2 swing and misses, so nothing on the tip ups, but right at dusk they started slamming the jigging rapalas. I ended up 3/4 on the jigging raps in a 30 minute period. Largest was 24", the other two landed were 20-21". John went 2/4 on the jigging raps, both undersize.

I ended the day with the 24" pike, 4 perch and 2 nice sunfish on the ice.

Nice day to be on the harbor, not a lot of company in the afternoon. We were there from 1:00 till a little after 6:30.
