Just trolling some homemade lures at 4.5mph in open water for suspended fish. Anything white belly with a copper or gold top has done well for us this year there.

Outside the weedline, many time 100-300 yards off the edge in the open. Baits around 15' down.

Running edge of the weed lines or out in deeper water?

They are in until after Columbus day. After that they can be removed at any time. Been biting pretty good when the winds lies down enough to fish.

Docks were still there yesterday. Water level is pretty good. Slow fishing,just a couple average pike.
