Does a child need a license?

Regulation questions- I’m likely going to have myself (licensed), another adult (also licensed) and two kiddos aged 8 and 10 out Saturday.  

 

Do the kids need a license? The reg states I believe that they don’t, however can I legally fish 9 rods in this scenario? Or only 6?

They dont need a license and they count as far as rods and limit go as long as you can justify that they can reel in their fish on their own.

You can have 12 rods out kiddos don't need a license. Anyone under 16 don't need a license. More rods a bigger mess . Good luck .

When you are perch fishing, a single hand held rod out fishes the rods sitting in a rod holder. You lose less bait and do not waste more bait and time rebaiting the other rods.
