Went for Kings 7-10am from 40-70 feet with every lure in the box. Not even a bump. Switched up to shallow browns from 10-1 and ended with 3 browns, one huge smallmouth and a broke off king. Nice size brown also bent the hook 2 feet from the net. Fought hard today.

You did well to find fish in the end.  Kings are tough right now, unless you want to go west.

The smallmouth by far... thought it was a hog brown for a while. We had one king (we think) break off 3 colors of leadcore. So if anyone catches a king with a silver streak spoon and 100’ of leadcore let me know😂
