Back in action ... Cayuga 5/16-5/17

Happily back in action on Cayuga this weekend ... fished Saturday and Sunday mornings in our knock the rust off annual first exploration and find the fish trip... went 5 for 6 on Saturday four landlocked and one laker ... mostly surface to 30 down then shifted gears on Sunday and went after lakers and some surface landed 14 lakers lost a board hook up and missed a few hookups maybe 5 or so... most action deep Sunday.... largest were two 32 inches clocking in at 13 pounds ... we can consider the rust knocked off !!

 

PS: there are some really bad dead head logs around treman and the inlet and outer shallows on south end... I am putting a crew together on my boat to clear them if possible this weekend...be careful in that area some are barely visible....
