Is late March/early April too early to troll for Browns/Coho in the Fairhaven/Oswego area? Cabin fever is setting in, tired of the hard water.

They are out there. When I had my small boat, I used to go out in the end of Feb. when it was warm and do really good on browns. March and April are great times to be out there. You have to pick your days but it's worth it when you can get out there.

Gambler is right. Pick your days in March and there is some great early season brown fishing. Just look for the warmer stained water, and don't be afraid to fish 5 feet or less if you have to. Just be careful that close to shore of anything just under the service of the water that may do some major harm to your boat.
