My fish last week had mayfly larvae in them as well.

Rented a house up there last year over 4th of July week and there were huge hatches of those especially large hexagenia flies.  The fish were stuffed with them puking them all over the live well.  Very impressive bug population in that lake right now.  Seems like if they didn’t have them they’d be starving to death.

Troll bite out in the main channel was really good this morning. Made a drift with harnesses and caught plenty too.

Frogger, I have been dragging them behind a 1 oz bottom bouncer and either drifting or trolling.

Massive fly hatch on the lake, but doesn’t seem to have put the bite off much. This 25” fish was puking 6” perch up in the well.

For you guys who regularly fish Oneida.......... On Western Lake Erie, they throw weapon rigs with small crawler pieces during these hatches and catch fish. Ever try this on Oneida?
