Salmon River/Mexico Reports

Headed up for a few days later this week and weekend.  How's the fishing been in the Mexico/Salmon River area?  Thanks for any input.

Very slow last two weeks, might be a bit better but lake is setting up and transitioning

X2  was out of Mexico yesterday, 1 laker no other hits in 8 hours

Went out for a couple hours this evening. Only got a 16' boat so didn't get out far but made it to 80 fow. Was marking decent amount of bait but couldn't get any takes.

went out Thursday and Friday Am fished around the big salmon.  Fish were few and far between, nice brown on Thursday and 2 small cohoes on Friday. Lots of bait in 30-50 feet of water.

 

this west wimnd today may help.

Good laker bite 100+ fow near bottom. Big river and north. Only game I could find.
