Had the pleasure of hitting the hard water at Honeoye lake today with Brian (Gambler). It was the first time that I personally was ice fishing in many years and it was a great time :yes::yes::clap:

We ended up catching 15 bass in all and many blue gills including a couple of really nice ones that Brian landed.

Fished in a shanty with heat and a underwater camera for the first time and didn't have to cut holes by hand I am now spoiled ;):)

Took the fish to the restaurant for some co-workers that wanted them and after they started to thaw 10 or 11 hours later they started to flip around :o:o

The Tray of fish we kept today. Biggest bass was 1-3/4 lbs I caught that one just before we left :clap:

Finger lakes state regs allow bass in winter for creel...Only the finger lakes..and a few ponds around the state, Buckhorn lake in Otsego County for instance.
