Sandy Creek Pen Rearing 2009

FYI-

The first meeting of the year will be held on Saturday March 7, 2009 at 1:00pm in the Gymnasium at the Hamlin Town Hall . This years pen rearing program will be the same as years past with two pens raising a total of 7500 Steelhead. The Sandy Creek pen rearing program is looking forward to adding 2 pens of chinook to the program in 2010.

I am going to do that this year, i want to spend some time with the fish i will be playing with for years to come .

I would not mind going, but I to work on Saturdays. Maybe I ll take of the weekend you guys put the pens together or in if you need and extra set of hands. Keep us Saturday workin guys in the loop.

Can anyone attend? I would like to get involved in one of the projects either on the Genny or Sandy.

These meeting are open to anyone who would like to attend.

Dont feel that you have to attend the meetings to be involved. Most pen rearing programs are especially in need of volunteers to sign up for scheduled feeding times. After we recieve the fish, these are time slots throughout the day (for a few weeks), that the fish need to be fed and cared for.

Thanks for the info Rob, I didn't know about the Kings for 2010...that's great news!! Where is the access point to the pens for feeding? Andy
