i will be staying at Henchens the 16th to sunday. if youre there stop over for a beer.  Have a white Triton walleye boat.  will likely be heading out looking for salmon in the main lake.  will see how the weather cooperates

forecast is looking all over the place hope it doesn't act up! any idea on the fishing reports as of late?

Last Weekend I took mature kings down 80-100 in 120-135 fow.

How did you make out on your fishing trip?

We decided to try fall fishing instead this year. Looking at the middle of September. We narrowed it down to Guffin bay or Black lake. How is the fishing at that time?

Bass have been decent of late. Fish the docks with finesse jigs and/or cranks and you'll get some nice large mouth. Pan fish are everywhere at the first set of north bouyos per usual.

17ft on the lake is what I rock and I typically don't have any issue as long as its not absolutely ripping out there.
