Great talk, as usual Pete! I would have made the same decision as your landowner, but my management principles revolve around habitat first, with timber value somewhat distant. 

 

LMK if you are going to jig lakers at Sandy this summer. Brian and I have been talking about a trip soon.

Gator, I have been out once out of Sandy and was skunked!  Of course I want to go again.  Lots of summer left.
