Wish I knew where this Pike was really caught. So far I have heard at least 5 different lakes. The Netherlands story seems believeable but now im gunshy. BP

I just read a story on this saga just recently, i think it was the in-fisherman pike/muskie issue. anyway, they recount all the missattributions and the subsequent 'clarification' article (last link in the 1st post here) that was written by the true angler. makes sense to me, confirms what I had pieced together elsewhere in drips and drabs about the story, and I think they are a reputable enough mag to check their facts first. closed issue in my mind.
