Meat Rig Combinations

[Dirty Oar Adventures]

I’ve been struggling to put together a good meat rig pattern and have had limited success. Are there any particular flasher, Twinkie rig and or particular meat head better than others?  I’ve tied my own, used dream weaver rigs and struggled the last couple of outings. At this point I’m at a loss for what works and what doesn’t. Thanks in advance for any help.

I like to run Oki flashers with A tomk or minion rings. Minion has a  cotton candy paddle that is effective. Atomik also has some meat paddle combinations on his page.

Two face with stud meat rig is a good one uv 190.

It's tough to beat a John King pearl double glow combo  (https://www.michiganangler.com/2013/Pearl_DG_Combo.jpg) - his meat heads are stout and run well without any bending or tuning. Plus, they accept cut or whole bait, trimmed right of course. We run lots of these heads behind 10" Spin Doctors, too. Order them plain then tie up your own tournament rigs using #2 VMC trebles and a single 5/0 Gamakatsu snelled in line in front of three beads on 50 lb fluorocarbon.(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaFol9tnhPw).
