Cayuga Pro troll flasher size?

Just wondering if anyone has noticed a difference between using 8" vs 11" pro troll flashers.  Do you find one size more effective than the other? I only have the smaller size and have never tried the larger ones.  Thanks for any insights.

I like the eight inch for the spring and summer. once the kings start to stage I have some luck with the 11 inch. there is a lighted version which I am going to try.
