I have a new to me 2006 9.9 mercury 4 stroke. I took off the carb and cleaned it out tonight and noticed the primer bulb has no hose on it.IMG_4300.JPGthere is nowhere on the carb to attach one to. The starting instructions on the motor say to prime it when cold so I’m confused. It runs fine but has been hard to start when cold. Any info?

I would say someone must have removed it for some reason. I too have a 2006 Pro Kicker Big Foot and the primer line runs to the bottum of the carb.

I have a Mercury 9.9  2006 tiller electric start and it has a hose from the primer bulb to the lower front of the carb. In one of the YouTube videos (.......
