I used it last weekend. I cut it and brined it in Pautzke natural brine for 24 hours and it firmed up nice and held in the bait head very well. It didn’t take any strikes that day but I was at least impressed with how well it held up for what that’s worth

How did you brine it? Did you just drop them into the jar?

Why do you need to brine them . Can't you use as is like all cut bait ?

I'd like to brine them because it'll be easier to handle. Instead of trying to keep them frozen I could just pull a piece out of the brine which doesn't need to be kept frozen.
