Sandy advice needed

I am taking my nephew out fishing tonight, what is my best options to put him on fish? Browns? Lakers? I don’t do much summer trolling, usually just spring browns for me. Only have a 16’ boat, so going way out isn’t an option. I do have down riggers and such. Any advice and tips would be appreciated

After the west blow, I'm not sure how deep the thermal cline got pushed down.  There was a pod of kings in 90' and 225-300 last weekend.  Lakers were in 110 - 120 in good numbers.  Browns were in 40-45'.  It has all more than likely changed.  As I sit here typing this on the lake at work, its a little sporty out there for a 16' boat.

Thanks, frustrating. I’ve been reading the weather . Gov and it says less than 1, figured I’d be good
