Elite series on ESPN2

Bass Master Elite on St Lawrence is live on ESPN2 from 8:00-3:00 today. Also on tomorrow and Sunday. I’ve been recording it. Very interesting to view if you are familiar with the river and Big Lake. I was walleye fishing early this morning as boats ran down river from Clayton.

I saw that monster smallie Paul Mueller took out in the lake on day one. 7lbs 13oz! What a hog!

Been a couple nice walleyes taken and some drum but many monster bass.

A friend of ours the boys fish with, Brock Mosely was in 5th after day 1.  Amazing fishery you have there!

I was working on the boat Friday and an elite series fisherman worked the docks where we keep our boat. He had a dedicated cameraman on his boat, and another boat that just followed him gathering drone footage. Pretty cool way to pay the mortgage.

I loved the live coverage, but wished the cell reception could have been a little better for the boats out in the lake. That final day looked like a hell of a bumpy day on the lake, I am sure it was a wet ride back to weigh in!!

Brock ended up 3rd on the st Lawrence and fished largemouths all week.  Unreal diversity!!!!

I wouldn’t want to be on Champlain today boy. Horror stories from back in the day from a tourney my brother was in.
