Interesting observation. I had one take the 300 ft of copper last year and head for Canada with it. I wondered afterward how long he would last or if the thing would fall off. I hope the latter:smile:

I'm with Rolmops

 

There was a very distinct temp break yesterday .

 

Only had to move it a few feet to drop 10 deg .

That’s a fish IMO. I would think dragging copper would not have those acute angles as shown. A boat shadow is probably not that different than a bait ball shadow.
