Been fishing out of Oswego past few years. Also Mexico before that. May change it up next year and try Sodus. Not changing because of the fishing but more trying some place different. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Open to all options. Have never been to Sodus

We normally recommend friends stay at a B&B, we recommend the Carriage House.
For Hotel, there aren't any. There are a couple of Inns that charge by the bed, like $25 per person. Reel Inn and Sodus Point Lodge.
There are two campgrounds, South Shore and Sodus Marina. South Shore also has 1 cabin, but it books up fast.
VRBO has rental houses as well.

We have stayed at South Shore before, nice as it's right on the lake (but no lake access) but it can be windy...

This year we stayed in a little 2 BR cottage right behind the convenience store in Sodus Point.  More expensive, but very convenient to the launch, store, etc...

Airbnb is usually my go to, to find places to stay. Looks like there is a good number of places near Sodus list on airbnb. Just find one that looks good to you. We do a couple trips a year while staying at Airbnb places, it has always worked out well.
