YET Cooler Lids Warping

Good evening, I own several YETI cooler, we ordered their largest cooler and after one trip it warped at both ends of the lid. Does anyone have any advice or experience with this?

Take pics and send to the company. Shouldn't be happening whether heat or UV etc. related. Hopefully they will make it right with you. If not, post the pics here and let them know that.

We sent the pictures and they are reviewing the warranty application. The cooler is only two weeks old. Thank you for your response.

We have 7 of their coolers with no issues, only issues are with the largest cooler that they make. Me and the boys fish many days in a row. It’s vital for us to have solid coolers. Beyond the fish we prepare all of our meals before we leave and keeping them cold is important

Never, it’s too big for the boat. We keep it in the back of the truck. It’s handy as it goes the length of the truck bed and has lots of room

To me it looks as though the lid may not be sturdy enough (may need reinforcement say in the mid section?) for the length and may be a design error or the particular plastic used in it may be adversely affected by sunlight or heat.

Pretty much most of the Finger Lakes and either Sodus Point or Hughes Marina for Lake O

We have never fished Sodus, but hear that it is excellent. Usually we launch out of Mexico for Browns in the Spring, Oswego during the summer for Kings and work our way East towards the Salmon River as the season wears on.

My brother has had good luck with yeti warranties.  I am sure they will make good on it if not I have a 145 qt RTIC and have had no issues with it.  We use the coolers a lot hunting and have a mixture of yeti and rtic.  We have yet to find any difference in performance at all.

As the season wears on east is usually the place to be as the matures are headed there Good luck with the fishing as well as the cooler issue
