Most of them work right now (magnums) Moonshines and Dreamweavers etc. some seem better than others just have to try them and figure it out especially color combinations and time of day. They can be really fickle so it varies often from day to day.

Mag spoons start picking up as the year gets later. Think bigger baitfish. Larger flies start doing well too. 5 and 6 inch Flies I’m talking.

I’m usually running mostly mag spoons around this time every year.

I’ll still run standard spoons for Steel though, all year.

You cant beat moonshine mag spoons especially when the fish are down 70 feet or deeper.Spoons are'nt my specialty but they have produced some of our biggest fish this year.

I stick to what a member told me here 3-4years ago and seens to work good for me.  March for browns I run scorpion and even the smaller spoons.  Late april start runnin more standard size by july I start runnin my mags. As the years hatch of baitfish get bigger so do my spoons.  When I fillet my fish I always open there stomachs and match spoon size off the  baitfish there eating.
