If you get out tomorrow, you're welcome to grab the head unit off our boat and swap it for yours. At least that will tell you whether it's the display or not.

Mine did same thing found small cracks in cable covering stripped off 80 ft re terminated and sealed conection all good now

It wasn’t hot out Sunday. It didn’t do it, but I had Gators head if it did. I’m starting to think my dash just gets so damm hot.

Mine does that too more when it’s deep. Scott no big deal I raise it up to read again but i let it sit there for a minute and put it back down I’m usually good. Then I hit the antenna with the hose and that’s it. If it continues I change the battery

I’m now noticing when we adjust the spring for better contact it’s better, but I believe the hook that holds the weight where the cable runs through could be an issue. When we put electrical tape around it so the cable doesn’t touch the hook it helped even more. Stay tuned for more deep investigations of the “Silver Gremlin”......
