I used my fish hawk for the first time today . What a difference far as bottom speed vs top speed .. Yes I know currents change daily but I’m sure the old way of sticking to 2-3 mph all the time definitely hurt me . Got a small Atlantic and 2 hits of of dipsys . I really need to to get two dipsy pole holders instead of those plastic Berkeley junk holders ... junk I was literally going to rip the base off the boat to get the pole off . lol . Good stuff looking forward to getting out again . Fished out of sandy creek marked a lot at 100-120 btw . Temp at 80 ish

If you can swing it the cannon single axis are nice one hand operation to move it down Bert's ratcheting are good as well both will stand up with just pressure so much easier to get the rod out of the holder with a fish on I have both I like the cannons slightly better but have no regrets on either
