Mono or Braid on Rigger Rods?

I’ve been using 30lb mono on my riggers... what are your thoughts? Is the stretch of mono good on rigger rods or do you think a tighter line with braid would lead to more hooked fish? I

Heavy braid on dipsys with flouro leaders.
