I'm hoping to get out on the bar for the first time ever this weekend.

I did a search and could not find the #. Does anyone have the phone # for the coast guard at Fort Niagara and Oswego (summer fishing). Just trying to get my phone programed - just in case.

The Youngstown # is 716-745-3327. I have ran into these guys a few times, always pleasurable and a few of them are fisherman.

basic guide right here fellas when calling coast guard

you say mayday mayday mayday - only if there is a risk of loss of life

pan pan pan - if the vessel is in danger and someone is injured but not life threatning

security security security - if there is something other boaters should beware of (floating log, lighthouse out)
