This was pretty cool picked up this buck coming from 120 yds away then past 2nd camera as I watched him and then he passed giving me a 15 yd shot
It’s sad to say this is the 1st buck I could have killed this season normally I’ve passed 20 shots on buck by this timeAdjustments.JPGAdjustments.JPGAdjustments.JPG

If you want to tag a buck right now, spend all day over a scrape. Bucks are on their feet checking at all times of the day.

Haven't hunted much this year.  My dad is struggling to pull back his bow so thats been keeping us out of the woods.  He's all pumped up for xbow and we're going to hunt the first 5 days and see if we can't get lucky.  Congrats on all the kills so far!  It's great refreshing this thread to get some live updates.  Thanks for everyone sharing the updates.   I hope to add some notes this week.  Good luck to all!

I showed my brother yesterday on a map, a good pinch point to scout on state land. With wind and rain in forecast he decided to leave his climber home and use today as a scouting mission.  Luckily he took his bow. After confirming my suspicions about the area with many deer trails and scrapes, my brother sat down on a log to text me excitedly.  In mid-text, a ten pointer walks by him, glances twice at him then continues on to check his scrape. My brother arrowed him at 8 yards. He is a 6x4.
