620 was the first shot in Ontario county.. was getting ready to walk in the woods and heard it about 1/2 mile away

November 21 am - gun opener
40 degrees
Cloudy skies
NW wind 8-14 mph


Does and fawns every where this morning but a lack of antlers. Sure sign that breeding is in full tilt. I did see one decent buck this morning walk out and scent check a doe in the field and then return right back to the woods where he started. Very methodically.

My kid also saw lots does and fawns. No antlers.
