Nothing happening this morning. Decent amount of shots around, hope most guys get out of the woods after this weekend. 

Yeah that is typically what happens. This weekend is usually the end of the season for most guys. I prefer a quiet woods myself. Bring on the late season.

Had the pleasure of being with my brother this morning for his first ever deer. I let him use my savage 220. He had a little window at 40 yards, and dropped him in its tracks. He was pumped, and so was I! Good luck to everyone else out there today.

Learned this evening the neighbor did indeed do this with his bow.

Not sure if I had a dud shell or if I messed up with the gun. Anybody use a TC contender? I think I had the selector switch either on safe or not fully on centerfire. None the less, when I dropped that hammer and heard that click instead of a boom, I was in awe. Really want to kill one with this pistol!

30-30 case. They go in the chamber too far and the hammer can't hit the primer hard enough to set it off
