Close calls. Got drawn on a big one at 36yds just enough stuff over his vitals I didnt feel comfortable risking a shot!

Hiked in 2+ miles. Tracks everywhere and some good sign. Never saw a deer but felt good to be back in the woods

Who is chilled already lol? Making some bacon and watching Levi Morgan put an arrow in a sheep from 100 yards for the umpteenth time. Keep wiggling those toes!

Really thought it was going to be a good hunt but it turned out to be a strange sit this afternoon. Deer started showing up around an hour before dusk and they were very spooky. As the wind changed the deer left the field and by dusk there wasn't a deer to be found. In 2.5 hours the wind went from NE to NW to SW.
Lots of deer seen including a couple of bucks and I believe one of those bucks was the big 8 from yesterday.
Four sits to go.
