Just tried my new Impact Boat fenders yesterday and they were awesome!  I used to have 8" round style and these cover more area and don't bounce off a dock.  Very pleased with them and they take up a lot less room in the boat.  Easy to put on and take off at the cleats.

The old cylindrical design were from old salts braiding old lines into fenders. Modern tug boats have solid rubber molded to hang on the hulls and fastened permanently so as to free up deck space.

I'm a seasoned boater in the great lakes region and am on my 4th boat. Purchasing this VIVOHOME fender kit with four, heavy-duty large boat bumpers is one of the wisest decisions that I’ve ever made. For the price of these - I paid $125 for 4 fenders with lines - is a great deal.
