Awesome. I did the same with spoons a while back and before the season starts again And i go trou everything i will have more gear to give away. Sometimes it feels better to help someone just starting off rather then tryin to get a few nickels for old gear.  I was helped alot durrin my start up so I try n pass it forward.

My naive take is that with 2,047 posts, he's referring to your probable lack of "newbie" status. I'm just throwing out the obvious answer, not shade. My assumption would be that you pm'd the guy for a friend or kid you know who's getting into it. Which is probably why MikeyP followed with an "lol".

Caught many a salmon on those balls deep down riggers!! There were 3, if looking for the other its on the bottom in Chamount bay.. We wore them out, Pre-kid days.........Good deal Jonny NOV
