Put the ice gear away and hooked the boat to the truck and headed for I Bay. Had a nice south breeze, not cold but it was cool. The Bay was pretty muddy and there was still ice north of the bridge. We marked a ton of fish but bites few and far between. Moved around quite a bit no luck. talked to other boats and they weren't doing much either. I think the fish we were marking may have been shade or big white perch. I'm not sure why but I haven't ever been able to catch perch on the LO bays when there is still some ice on them. Soon as the ice is gone they start biting,Anyone notice this or is it just me? Anyway the boat ran just fine, now I'm going to try Seneca for some big perch.:lol::lol:
