Hello, I am thinking about leaving my boat in the water at Sandy creek in Hamlin... any thoughts or comments? Boat is a 30' hardtop with twin 350 with v drives. I don't know about water depth or cost.... Any help would be great. Thanks!

I have a 27 foot baha and I am keeping it there this year. The depth really isnt a problem there are other larger boats there. The owner said the parkway bridge is to low for outriggers so you may have to lower them as you go under. I dont think there should be a concern.

pleasure unit,

that other post that tom mentioned should help. Water depth is not a problem in the creek or in marinas. The bridge is the only real restriction but I would say bridge clearance is about 12' (It has been known to shorten some outriggers). Plenty of room for most boats!

Pleasure Unit,

The bridge is an issue and the width of the channel leaving the marina into the creek. Your boat will make it no problem but you don't want to be off by much.

I am going to keep the Thompson until the Sportcraft is ready... MAYBE by late summer, but most likely Spring 2010
