Looking to purchase some Tekota 300s for trolling on the Finger Lakes. I'm trying to lighten up my tackle with lighter rods and reels. Any info on these would be appreciated!

The Tekota 300 reel is known for durablity. Anything that Shimano engineers will have quality built it. They are great reels for fish that make long runs. They are engineered with a die cast frame. It also has an oversized clicker and with its cross bar design, accssibility to the spool is very easy. The grip is made of Septon plastic resin.

Check with Jim Dence of All Season Sports in Pulaski, NY. He will have the best price on that reel.
