Best episode ever. Hot Tuna doubles up. Both fish head in opposite directions. Fisherman at the front of the boat is about to get spooled so they tie a rope with a Polly anchor-ball around the reel and throw it overboard. After a battle they lose fish one near the boat so they fire the engines and chase down the rod floating in the water. They land fish #2. Unreal!  I am going to put a small poly ball on my boat!

I remember that episode and I remember thinking to myself they are going to have fun dealing with that reel with the salt water in it.... not exactly a hundred dollar reel

$3,000 reel and rod vs $6,000 Tuna. They made a business decision.

Yep no doubt about it. They also have enough equipment  backups that they just send the reel out for someone to mess with I got a look at Marciano's stuff a couple of years ago when I met up with him.
